Finally got the carpet out of my new-to-me 2006 DR Laramie Quad Cab. Every truck I have ever purchased used I remove the carpet and clean it. Most of the general public is inherently dirty in their own vehicles versus what they do in someone else's ride. This truck must have had spit cups and soda spilled over and over under the seats. What a mess! I did the first step of cleaning out the funk with Zep Industrial Degreaser in the yellow gallon jugs. I sprayed the entire carpet set and gave it a light brushing to massage the fibers and then it got hit with the pressure washer. Before I do any washing and spraying though I hang the carpet up on a pair of hooks I have in the shop door which makes cleaning and rinsing super simple.
Here's the dirty pics! Haha. I'll post the clean stuff after it dries and I vacuum because I washed it yesterday evening.
It may need a second round of spot cleaning with some Shout and some Iron-Out Rust Remover because there are a couple of spots around the seat bracket mounts that appear to be rusty.
