I have a 2018 1500 4x4 5.7l hemi with a stock extra ride height and want to know if it would take 295/60/r20 without any issues.

See this calculator for stock versus your desired size:

According to a few tire places I spoke with, 295 60 20 is the biggest you can do without mods. My biggest concern with stock rims with +19 offset would be how close can you get to upper control arms. You will be about .4 inches closer. If I recall correctly, thats about 1/2 a middle knuckle on my forefinger closer. I have +10 offset rims and can put my whole forefinger in between and have wiggle room as well (combined with stock tire size). My belief is you need very little room between the uca & tire at its closest point based on checking out other rams with as little as 1/8 of an inch gap between the sidewall & uca. But no matter the impact of tire pressure, you of course..want a gap. And keep in mind not all tires even though spec'd as 295 width, are not the same. 11.6" may be closer to 12" if a Toyo AT tire for example.

Summarizing...you CAN do 295 60 20 and be ok, depending on the tire. If you go aftermarket rims, consider buying some room by getting say a 0 to +5 offset rim. Me, if I stuck with stock offset, would be more likely to go 285 60 20 or 285 65 20.

Nope ... 275/60/R20 ... They are 33” ... You can do 285/60/R20 no problem ... You can do 285/65/R20 or 295/60/R20 with just a level ... Bils at 1.4” or 2.1” depending on how much rake you have and want ... It will ride and handle better too
