Alright so going against all my original ideas here but I’m contemplating a 4” lift kit and ordering new fox front coilovers at the same time and going to 1” over for a 5” lift front and purchasing 3” rear gladiator springs. I may do the 2” lift blocks and keep my eibach springs for a bit though. Possibly zone? If I go that route I’m debating a rear box kit from procomp to drop the rear control arms instead of the relocation kit that the zone kit uses. Part of the reason I’m thinking about this is because I am currently at 3” front 1” rear and after off-roading last time I did bottom out a few times plus I’m trying to gain some down travel back by using less preload. Plus that should be a lot easier on my cv axles too. Then I’ll build true sliders and a full belly skid. Already have a design in mind.

Curious why not looking at going to 6" lift? Price wise, if I recall are pretty close.

They are close and I could run stock height coilovers and that would be 5” lift. I don’t want to go higher than 5”. For me higher is not better. The 4” kit with some preload should in theory give me a bit more clearance to the front crossmember over a 6” kit with no preload. I need clearance but want more wheel travel.

Originally we had to do the 6” to get the 3” rear coils. Now it’s available with the 4”. The brackets are identical with both kits from zone the only difference is the strut top spacer in each kit.
Do the Fox full length coil overs or even the icon for the lifted applications and you’ll never look back

What’s the benefit to full length coilovers? Looking at the fox 2.5 dsc. I’ll be installing gladiator rear coils for the multi rate with extra payload so I won’t be buying the zone 3” rear box kit. Just 2” blocks since I have the 1” eibach springs currently and then I can swap to 3” springs later.

Did you end up getting it ? ...
I have not. Waiting to see what my work bonus is. I need new struts at the same time. If it’s a good bonus I’m going to do the lift as well. I’ve actually been leaning towards the 6” kit and running coilovers set to 0 and run that rear box with 4” rear springs

Necro post... What were the rear springs you're looking at? I think I need the extra inch due to the topper, tent and extra load being carried when I head out for camping.

Would longer and adjustable trailing arms and track bar not be a better performing option for the rear than a bracket relocate?

This is my first truck without leaf springs so pardon my ignorance. It's been a while from my Jeep days.
I know the front is more difficult. Is there a mid or long travel kit available with different LCA/UCA and longer CVs with more angle?

Your axels will be taking a beating. Like people suggested: you’re better off with a 6-inch lift.

From my understanding, most of the 4” kits come with the same drop cradle as the 6”…no? Why would his axles suffer?

Really? I was under the impression that the 4” didn’t come with the cross member replacement. I’m probably wrong.

Yep, they definitely do. Usually, anything under 4” is touted a leveling kit and dosnt drop the diff or low a arms. Maybe not the aev but i honestly dont pay much attention to the half ton stuff.

Yes. The 4” and 6” use the same crossmembers. I have since redacted that idea. My truck has stayed at the 2.5” lift height. I have no real need to lift my truck 6-7”. It’s a dirt road/woods truck. I don’t do rock crawling. This setup has never let me down.

I drive to work and back. Like myself, I think like 95% of people that lift their trucks do it for aesthetics. Same with wheels & tires.
