Tool box with a 5th wheel

Last month I picked up my 2022 3500 Limited mega cab. Towing my 42’ 5th no problem but I want to add a tool box in the bed with a roll up style tonneau cover. There doesn’t appear to be many choices for tonneau cover tool boxes and most seem very short. Much shorter than the width of the bed with the ram box delete.

Any problem with a tool box and 5th wheel on a short bed?

Any suggestions on boxes?

My buddy has a tool box under his roll-up tonneau cover and he tows a fiver but he also has the 8' box. The one he has is from Tractor Supply and it's pictured under the tonneau with the custom under bed rail lighting.
With a 6.4' bed there's not much space left for a tool box.

That’s what I was thinking too. Might have to measure out exactly what length, depth and height I can fit in there and scour the internet looking for the perfect fit.

there is a lot of tool boxes that are deck mounted vs rail mounted. Protech and wickem weld makes some but they are expensive.

You can have any size, shape toolbox built
Just find a back alley sheet metal shop

In my 2009 i had a box built made of 1/8 inch sheet metal, it even had a sliding shelf in it
