Tow Mirror sensor?

I traded my 18 2500 cummins in for a 22 longhorn limited and really like it so far. The dealership though didn’t know all the instruments on the truck. I asked what the sensors are at the bottom of the tow mirrors and they have no clue. I can’t seem to find any info anywhere.

Mine has turning lights on the bottom of them.

Found it - turned on cargo lights and they light up and shine down the side of the truck

They are called "Puddle Lamps".
