I need some opinions...I've been looking at adding some tow mirrors on my truck. I like the way the look on some of the other trucks that I've seen them on. I can pick up a brand new pair of mopar mirrors for $125. Just wondering how everyone likes them on there's or the ones they have seen with them installed.

I love them on mine, even when there folded down i think they look better than the stock ones.

Yeah that's what I was thinking. I just think it gives the truck a better stance.

I also have tow mirrors and really like them, though I only have mine flipped out when I'm actually towing. If i'm not towing, they're folded in. They do give the truck a wider looking stance when they're flipped though which is nice.

But, are they compatable? Has anyone done this swap yet?

I don't see why they wouldn't be compatible. I've seen them on plenty of 1500s like mine.

The truck body itself is the same for 1500/2500/3500 on 3rd gens. It's an optional available stock mirror across all 3. Of course they fit (see sig pic below).

Yeah that's the way I'm leaning towards. Plus if I don't like it I can sell them and get more money out of them than what I'm buying them for. I'll probably be swapping the speakers while I'm at it as well since I'll have the door panels off.

Yeah it's 125 for both. And yes it's the power one's with the defrost and everything. Meeting up with the guy on the 3rd and going to get them. I'll probably install them while I'm at work on Saturday.

Wish I could find deals like that. I had some aftermarket tow mirrors on and they only stayed on for about a day, vibration was awful. OEM is the way to go like what you're doing.

Yeah the guy had them on CL for $250. I emailed just asking him about it and told him I was interested but only had $125. He replied back saying that he'd take that. So as soon as he gets back in from vacation I'll pick them up and hoping that everything works on them.

Alright, finally met up and got the mirrors an hour ago. I will be installing them here shortly. I have been looking forward to this day since I have contacted the seller.
