I have a 1995 Ram 2500 4x4 5.9
Pulled off the old track bar and got a new one from AutoZone Part DS1413
I can not get it to go on. I attached the passenger side and cant get the stud to go through the drivers side. I turned the steering wheel and got it lined up but the stud seems to not want to go through the hole all the way. It is not at the same angle as the bracket. I even tried disconnecting it from passenger side and it still wont line up enough to get the stud through. The truck is sitting and not on a lift or jack. Would it help to put a jack on passenger side to try to get a better angle on the stud end? I didn't compare my old one to the new one but I have been told it's the right part number. Any ideas???

If it's not the right angle, it's the wrong PN.
You should never have to lift one side of the truck to get a suspension component to fit properly, especially track bars.

If you tap it does it budge? Sounds like it might be the wrong one. If you take it back get a moog problem solver track bar, never have to replace it again!
