I own a 2024 3500 Longhorn and am wondering if anyone has trouble with theirs recognizing a trailer. When I hook up my fifth wheel the instrument cluster asks me to select fifth wheel or gooseneck. I have also renamed "Trailer 1" to "Fifth Wheel" and it is selected.
After that I would expect the Light Check feature to work. It works less often than it doesn't.
Also the TPM's in the trailer wheels will not register unless I select "Trailer x" and then reselect "Fifth Wheel". (It was already on "Fifth Wheel") Sometimes this must be repeated mid-trip if I shut off the engine.
I've tried connecting the 7-way with engine running and with it off.
Taking the truck to the dealer with the fifth wheel in tow is not very practical.

I never have any issue with the light check function. That's a nice feature to have.

All normal for the TTPMS system, in my experience with my '22 2500.
