So I just installed my Kleinn RAMHD-734 in my 2017 2500 Laramie. All I have to do is find a place to put the horn button. I’d prefer to have it accessible by my right hand, but I don’t want a permanent hole anywhere. I have no problem drilling a panel that I can replace for a few dollars. I’d really like to put it below the 4WD selector under the Neutral button, but I’m not sure if that panel is easily replaced.

Any ideas?

I have set I've yet to put in, but when I do I'll likely go with a timed relay triggered by the OEM horn, so a short blast would be the normal truck horn, but say a half second or so of holding the horn on would trigger the train horn.

I'm planning on getting a set of train horns hopefully this year. My plan is to use a momentary switch like the idea of a dimmer switch I can use with my left foot. That way if stuck in traffic hopefully no one will figure out where its coming from :)

Mounting it on the floor is not a bad idea. Fab up a little mount for a horn button and maybe use some sort of velcro material to adhere it to the floor carpet in the area where the headlight dimmers were at one time.

Can't you use one of the factory AUX buttons? Just set it to be momentary.

I ended up doing what @averageguy suggested. I mounted a single pole/double throw(?) (on/off/on) switch and I am using the steering wheel horn button. One position is my air horn, middle is neither horn, and the other position is the OEM horn.
Only down side is the slight delay in activating either horn and not having a polite quick blast. But that is due to the way the OEM switch and wiring is.

Yeah, I HATE the delay in the stock horn! And if I were to do this, I’d still have to put a hole somewhere. I think I’d prefer to keep both horns separate. But thanks for the info!

I figured out where to put it and MAN are those things LOUD! I only put a little air in the tank and it’s CRAZY loud!!! I cant imagine it at 150 psi.

Anyway, on the drivers side there is an access panel for the center console. I popped it out, drilled a hole and it’s perfect!

Here’s a link to the panel:
