does anybody know what would be a better transmission for my 97 dodge ram1500 with a 5.9L stock 360 magnum? stock tranny just don't have the shifting I want, or would it be better to re-build mine?

Rebuilding yours is the way to go. Or if its in good shape, well maintained. The transgo tfod shift kit works well
