Again…i think you are trying to upgrade a part that doesnt need upgrading. I have never read of anybody damaging their tcase on these trucks before. Im sure it has happened before, but its probably so extremely rare.so thinking about it i was wondering about a different trans and tcase. does anyone know what options there are for a swap
Thats the thing. You can always beef anything up. 1 tons, military trucks, just about anything could be beefed up to be stronger.given where we like to go camping i want my truck to be as bulletproof as possible. if she’s going to price is reasonable i would definitely consider the upgrade on parts. that goes for the drive train to. the truck is my prized mule. i like to beef it up with in reason as it is still my daily driver.
It only broke because it wasnt installed correctly and the bolts loosened up. You have a rare occasion on your hands.nobody’s breaking pw tcases i did. now it’s compromised. the torque placed on the tcase is considerably high. 2 of the studs are somewhat compromised i think a little support is needed.
Yes. Thats what i mean, it better allow some movement…or ur just gonna sheer the case off again lollike the one on the transmission it’s solid but flexible. does that make sense lol
