Hello new to this forum and looking for a little bit of help. My grandfather passed and he left me his 94 ram v8 5.9. It has an automatic transmission that seems to be shifting poorly. If I pull from a stop it wot shift into second unless I romp on the gas. If I floor it and the Roma shoot to 3500/4000 then it will start shifting properly. But for a normal pull away it sometimes has a problem. Keyword sometimes. I adjusted the bands and the checked the fluids the truck has sat for about a year in a garage. I noticed there is a spring on the side of the transmission that is attached to a cable. As you hit the gas it pulls the cable and the spring returns it back.. As I was under the truck I had someone hit the gas and the cable didn't return all the way back so I'm thinking the spring is just rusted and worn out.. Anyone know where I could get a spring that's made for that and or the specs on it. ?? Thank you
