I've been searching around and cannot locate any info on user-defined transmission temperature PIDs for OBD2's.

I have:
2012 Ram 2500 LLMC 6.7
OBDlink mx+
iOS device

Can anyone confirm a user defined PID for trans temp?

or

Is there a known working app for iOS that will read the trans temp?

Thanks!

This is what I use on my 2016 68RFE

PID: 22b010
Long Name: Transmission Temp
Short name: Trans Temp
Min value: 0.0
Max Value: 250.0
Scale: x1
Unit: (degrees)f
Equation: ((A*256)+b)*(1/64)

Tried the above, didn’t work. Could be app related or year maybe. Here are my screenshots:

I'm using an android device and the Torque Pro app and it works on mine. Some of my fields appear differently in my app but the important stuff looks the same.

OK, the only thing different I noticed is I put units as "F" and you provided degrees(f). I'll change mine to match yours and might give the torque pro app a try.

I appreciate your input.

Yeah, my units show as the degrees symbol and f. Like this... °f (Couldn't figure out how to make that symbol earlier.)

My OBD header is set to auto and yours says ECM. Also looks like you have spaces between the ) + B( but don't think that matters? In torque pro it will give you a green check mark if the equation is correct or at lest in the right context.
