. Trans temp is usually 130-140. Sometimes I see 160 , but this is typically on hotter days.
This may sound dumb but is it as simple as the outside temp being higher ?
Just bought it used and only driven colder months. Also what temperature should I be concerned?

Yes outside air raises or cools fluid temp depending on temps. I would do the thermal bypass if you have it, look it up, I think 2012 might have the valve that needs a bypass, that should go. 175 and below you wont have issues as far as temp goes. It looks like maybe that started in 2013, if so you can ignore that.

Jusr kind of a guide you see in trans shops.
