so ive dug deep and started on installing my 2800 stall and headers. stall went as good as I thought it would by myself and just a regular floor jack haha it only took about 8 hours. ive got my exhaust all cutoff now back to around where the y-pipe will connect so there isn't any giving up now. I have ended up breaking all the heat shield nuts so decided to soak the bolts another night(3rd night). what else would yall do to prevent breaking bolts and what would yall do if bolts did break.

well counted my chickens before they hatched but in a good way. I ended up getting them all out without breaking them in the heads. I had been using pb blaster for like 3 days then used a 3/8 ratchet with a 10mm and 1"extension and a 1/2 ratchet with 1" extension and 13mm(couldn't find my 6 point 13mm 3/8 socket. all were easy to get to and I swear by pb blaster now haha

I've found Mopar heater control solvent the best penetrant. Its made to free up heat risers. Don't know if they still sell it.

Damn man I don't want to jinks myself but I give my truck hell and never had a problem with the tranny. I picked up an extra just in case though. I went with pacesetter coated ones. I've got the same tranny jack and look at it every time I go to pull a tranny but never use it. I guess stick to what you are comfortable with haha I've also only pulled out 94 Nissan hardbody 5-speed, 85 s10 auto, and my dads 96 gt a few times and none of them had **** on my tranny so it was a little intimidating. Coulda definitely used another set of eyes

My whole truck almost just died haha halfway from West Virginia to Tennessee I raced this car and then got stopped at a red light and smoke was flowing out the hood. Well I pull off the road real quick and my damn trucks on fire. I get my Mountain Dew and try to put it out and it didn't work. I ended up ripping all that sound proofing **** out while it was burning. Wish I knew to remove that stuff when I installed the headers haha all is good though
