Thanks David, very nice of you. Fingers crossed.
Etroze, yes they are the Daytons. Cardsin installed them with printed enclosures. I figured I would give them a try, can't beat the price.
What do those run? They look very well made.
Wow! I actually did something audio related today. LOL The weather is finally above freezing!
I swapped my single Fox Enclosure for the dual MTX Enclosure I picked up a while back. I mounted the old sub and the new sub into the MTX Enclosure but am currently only powering one. I have to say that I like the sound of it. I've always liked a sealed enclosure over ported, just a personal preference so I achieved my goal. I didn't take any measurements yet but my ears are happy.
No pics yet, there is work to be done on that enclosure after I get both subs powered and amps mounted. The MTX box is meant to have subs ran mono, since I will be powering each sub independently, it will require some modifications to the enclosure as I need to add an additional terminal. I didn't want to make any modifications to the enclosure before I knew it would fit my needs. If it did not, I could easily re-sell it as it is still stock. For now, my wiring is a little high-schoolish.I may give it a paint job as well, something similar to the Fox Box finish.
This did however help me figure out that I do have room to leave my DSP floor mounted behind the enclosure, centered under the rear seat for easy access. This was a concern for me because if I had to include the DSP onto the amp rack behind the seats, the rack would have needed to be very creative due to space constraints. With just the amps and distributions blocks on the rack it is easy peasy so I already started attacking that. It's a pretty simple setup so I might even be able to install it tomorrow and get that other sub powered.

Looking forward to hearing your thoughts going from single to dual
I am guessing you work in the fishing business, or you really love trout?!![]()
And I think even without any tuning, you will say the same thing about a 3 way front stage
