Hey guys new to this forum and seen some folks with similar problems but no answers. I have a 2014 Ram Sport with the 5.7 hemi. Lifter ate my cam shaft so i have had them replaced. Replace with a performance cam from comp cams and also all new non mds lifters along with the rest of the mds delete kit. After install the truck will not idle and will only start when you press the pedal down and dies as soon as you let it off. They went back and checked the timing and it was a tooth off. They fixed that and we still have the same problem. They have double checked all pushrods and they are installed correctly. When its running its only 4 cylinders. I have a basic camshaft tune from hemifever on the truck now, so it should run with no problem. Any help would be awesome.

Does the truck have a tune for the new cam, and MDS shut off?

If it is only running on 4 cylinders, which cylinders is it running on?

Go through all of the basic stuff.

Are all of the ignition coils connected? How about the injectors?

Do you have a good scan tool so you can see the misfire monitor and see which cylinders are not firing?

What is the Cam/Crank difference in the PCM Data list in the scan tool?

Have you performed a compression test or a leakdown test to verify cylinder/valve/valve seat integrity?

Not sure what Cylinders are not running. I'll check that this morning. He told me but I don't remember now. Also since cam swap the Electronic Throttle Control symbol is flashing when key is turned on. This didn't happen before.
