Has anyone used these. They won’t work on my 08. They’ll just flicker for couple seconds then stay off. Is there a way to get them to work?

Do these lights have built-in resistor's in the harness? If not, you will need to add them by using a 50 watt 5ohm resistor to make them work properly.

If they have a built-in resistor in the harness and they still flicker I would contact Sealight customer service for some support.

You would think that little black box inline would be the resistance, but maybe not.

Why would you say this?

I've have Fahren LED bulbs in OE projector housings on my truck for nearly 2 years and rarely get flashed.

Part of the installation of bulbs in any housings should include a proper alignment to avoid blinding oncoming traffic.

Numerous members of Ram Forum have successfully installed Fahren, Auxito and many other brands of aftermarket LED bulbs in OE housings.

The OP hasn't been seen since June 18th.
If they ever return, I have a few ideas to solve this problem but as previously mentioned, you should contact Sealight first.

Post here or send me a PM to get started.

There's a difference is using LEDs in a projector vs reflector housing. The projector focuses a vast majority of the excess scatter light that happens from using an LED which puts out a lot more light than a halogen.
That excessive scatter light from LEDs in reflector housings is what blinds other drivers. If you have a LED flashlight that you can vary the brightness this concept is easily seen by watching how bright the surrounding area away from the focused part of the flashlight beam gets as the brightness is increased. It doesn't matter if the headlight is adjusted "properly" the excess light still spreads.

Do all reflector housings used in Ram trucks react in this fashion?

I tried 2 LED lights.

The smaller, lower-powered light demonstrated an increase in the corona size with a higher setting. The much larger and more powerful light remained consistent over three different light output settings.

That's a cool test idea. Now I'm going to have to test all my LED lights.

The entire reflector housing is designed certified with the brightness and type of the bulb factored in. There isn't an LED that's DOT certified for replacement in halogen certified housings.
The only housing that is changeable legally is fog lights but the factory fog housings with LEDs in them make the sorta useless for their actual application (fog, snow, etc).
If you have reflector housings and need more light to see while driving, just put the LEDs in the high beam location, unless your a rude driver the high beams are not used when there's on coming traffic.

You can type all you want. Led's arent designed for oem halogen bulb housings. There's plenty of research to back my claim up

Thanks, that's good to know.

Are the quad housings also a two-beam reflector style housing?
I understand why the projector housings are suitable with the focused lens on the low beam side.

And do you believe there are no LED bulbs suitable for reflector housings?
I've seen a couple of different LED chip configurations, but not sure how much difference that makes.

I have a laser flashlight that has a very tight beam pattern, probably is about 10" at 100 yards and you can notice the scatter light between high and low.

Duals, Quads and the high beam of the projectors are all reflector type headlights.
There's no LEDs certified to replace a halogen bulb. Moving the filament location even millimeters can effect the beam pattern and spread over distance. Think of how little a gun scope adjustment moves and the long range change can be significant.
Technically it's not legal but just run LEDs in reflector housing high beams, you'll have the extra light available without blinding on-coming traffic.
