Put the positive on the battery and the negative on a strong bolt on the engine This puts all of the power directly to the starter. It should start then. I recommend you use another vehicle for this method. The running vehicle cables should be on the battery. Disabled vehicle positive to battery and negative to the engine (just to be clear).

I thought is was two batteries when I first saw them as well, lol. First hemi, I had two batteries before in my Cummins so it took a minute to pop the cover. but lets move along, problem solved.

I can say without a doubt, when these things die they are dead. Man I had little notice my battery was done same year, there was maybe 2 or 3 slow starts, then she was fkin dead. worth a shot, but this thing needs replacement soon for sure. It takes a lot of amps to crank a hemi, so unforgiving with a weak battery.

Bought my 10 R/T couple months ago, I immediately bought a new battery..it’s just something I always do with any new, used vehicle I purchase..I just want a piece of mind..I had a used car lot for 25 yrs and if a battery went dead it immediately got a Interstate blem installed..Just buy a good battery and If it’s an Alternator
problem it’s already taken your old battery out so you need one anyway
