Glad to see they posted the update online.

Which USB port do I plug the drive into? The one that has a cover labeled USB or the USB port next to the aux port?

The one in center console that allows you to listen to music from the drive. I do believe it is next to the AUX port in all setups.

Heads up, the VIN for my 2013 8.4AN is now showing the update as being available for download via the UConnect site. Those still waiting may want to check the site for a manual update.

Yeah I think I'm going to do it via USB. I've heard of more problems with the OTA process than on USB

Be aware that it restarts a lot and looks like it is starting over in an update loop. It's not, if it fails it will explicitly say so and tell you to remove the update USB.

Successfully updated via USB this morning. Waited 7 months for the phone favorites fix. Hope I don’t uncover any new bugs

I was able to download the new software off uconnect's website for my truck. I just need to put the iso. file on the thumbdrive correct???

Correct. Just put the unzipped files on your jump drive and plug into your USB in your truck. Truck needs to be running when you do this...according to the instructions.

Does anyone know if you can "downgrade"? I have the software, so that's not the issue. Mines an upgrade from a RA2. When I was running the 16.33.29 I never got the 911 error screen, with the 17.11.07 I get it several times a day. While it is purely cosmetic I would still prefer to not have it. Yes, I have the 911 plug.

So how is it behaving? As others have posted about washed out back up cam, low system voice etc.. no ota here so still hesitant to load it,, looks like no rollback allowed. I had the ra3 with dealer added nav in my 14 CC and did the ra4 upgrade when I did the premium cluster upgrade. Thanks.

I went ahead and downloaded the update. Had to use donor vin to get the ra4 AN flavor. I still have my OEM RA3 so I downloaded that as well..if I ever brick my ra4, I have a backup.

17.11.17 This is the OTA that my 2014 loaded.

Does anyone have any release notes that detail the difference between the builds?

I too have a 2014 and did the OTA update a couple weeks ago.

Additionally, I also now see the .07 available for download. I wonder if this is the more appropriate version for 2014 rams with separate displays for each camera. The download version seems to specify “_MY14” in the descriptor.

With that said though, it doesn’t sound like we can go backwards.

Here is the screen washed out...my camera on my phone makes it look better than what it is to my eye. The bottom left corner of the screen in the picture is what it looks like all over to my eyes.

My advice is always if it ain't broke don't fix it. I would have stayed on the 15.x.x update had my clock and NAV stayed accurate. So far two days of accurate clock and NAV on the 17.x.x update.
