UConnect/CarPlay issue after update

I recently installed what I believe to be the newest update for my 8.4 NAV radio ,afterwards I noticed that when playing any sort of audio through my phone through CarPlay, the auto will break up sound a bit like static or like a record skipping or a CD skipping and then return back to normal and it continues this process intermittently. it can go through decent periods of time where it doesnt make the noise but then it always seems to happen. Ive tried every solution on google but im hoping someone here has an idea for me. Im using an iPhone Air with he most recent firmware update if thats helpful.

Explain the steps you took to do the update. What version was it and what version have you updated to?

It was version 184824/00185001/00185001 it is currently 203606/00194900/00194900

I used a usb drive and inserted and let the truck idle while the update run. it completed successfully in about 25 min and I noticed this issue while driving shortly after.

We regret to hear that this is occurring. Have you attempted to unpair/repair your phone? Also, is your phone software updated to the latest available version? Any information is appreciated as we begin to look into this for you.
