Hello, I have a 2014 Ram 1500 and I installed an 18 UAS radio. I was wondering if it's possible to activate Uconnect Guardian. I have the (2018) vin in my RAM app but it hasn't updated the vehicle status since it was installed in the 2014 ram. Would I need to add a telematics module or is the 2018 bcm equipped with the software to use Connect Guardian. Thanks

If I remember correctly UConnect will not activate the feature for any vehicle other than one that came with the service from the factory.

Any way I can trick the 2014 into thinking its a 2018? Would changing to a newer bcm work? I already have the 18 on the app but its not connecting with the radio.

It's UConnect (the company) that's the problem. They probably could allow the services to work but they won't do it for OEM upgrades, only original equipment for originally equipped VINs.
