Uconnect problems

I just recently purchased a 2013 RAM 1500 with the 5.7 HEMI and when I tried to register with the Uconnect it keeps telling me service not availible to contact Uconnect. I talked to Uconnect several different times and finally got someone that knows what theyre doing and had me do 3 different resets including a factory reset and still says the same message the Uconnect service not availible. Trying to keep from taking it to the dealer and being charged an arm and a leg to fix it or even check it out. Any help at all would be appreciated.

Not sure what Uconnect you have but have you tried the website? You might need updates and you can easily do it with a flash drive from home.

I did need an update but even after the update to my radio it still says the same message. All the resets Uconnect had me do was even after I updated my radio.

Kinda hate to jump on someone's thread, but I PM'ed you about a U-Connect problem and haven't heard back yet. I need to know if Travel Link can be (permanently!) disabled before I yank the head unit and pull the SAT feed. I'd prefer to do without anything SAT related over getting the constant air alert popups...

I have a 2016 Ram 1500. Recently subscribed to Uconnect access again. At first the app worked intermittently after calling Uconnect and resetting radio several times no longer works. Cant start, lock, unlock car. Vehicle finder no longer works. Also Uconnect website shows an update is available for my system but I have already installed the update.

Any suggestions

I have a 2012 Ram with uconnect. My phone links up and works just fine most of the time. Plays music, receives phone calls, voice commands work properly, etc. But from time to time, my screen will freeze up causing my music to stop playing. Once it freezes I can’t work the radio at all. I can turn the radio “off” and it indicates radio off on the gauge cluster. But the screen is still frozen. My backup camera also may stay on after the vehicle is no longer in reverse. If it freezes with the camera on, the camera functions but will not turn off. I checked for updates and it is all up to date.

I purchased my 2022 Ram 3500 in Sept 2021. It has had the Ram UConnect radio station preset issue since purchase. It has been to the dealer 4 times with zero positive results but my frustration level has increased! That's a positive - right? All I hear from Ram is "The engineers are working on it and the next software update will correct the issue." Seems to me they need new engineers. I just got off the phone with Ram Cares (talk about an oxymoron!) and they literally said "A software update is coming the first quarter of 2023 that should fix it. Nothing else we can do." Everyone needs to report this issue and start wearing out Ram Cares and dealerships. I'm starting my 16th month of dealing with this serious lack of a sense of urgency to address this issue. Might be time to get rid of this thing and go GM product. All because of a radio...or is it lack of customer service? If they can't fix a radio, what if it's something really serious?
