Uconnect remote start app

Both my wife and I cannot get the start, lock doors etc screen to come up on our phones. I know it is not an android issue because my Wife has an Apple Iphone. The only screen that comes up is the vehicle health screen and also when I try to open up something else we get the connectivity issue screen. Thanks for any help!

On your iphone look at bottom of screen for remote icon in middle. Tap that and you should see lock, unlock, remote start etc.

Sooo, when you open up the app, what comes up? Whether you have the Uconnect app or the SiriusXM Guardian app, the first screen it should come to after logging in is the remote portion.

mine fails 75% of the time for remote start. I have some crazy good reception here as I have at&t phone and thats what the truck uses, no excuse really.

Is your app up to date? Might have to call up Uconnect.

Doesn’t matter it’s only free another month and I wouldn’t pay for it past that anyway

When I first used the app ( about a year ago, trial period) it was 50/50 on whether or not it would work. After a few months with it, and an update it was nearly perfect. This winter I paid for the app so I could start my truck while at work. I have only had one failure. The worst thing about the app is the time it takes to load, they could definitely improve it.

Use the xm guardian app. The only thing I have to do to make mine work is close the entire app out and re open it before I start the truck. Pain yes but sure beats going to a cold truck when its 0 out and snowing. The uconnect app didnt work period for me
