got that, but what I didnt get was why. Is it a measurement thing? Are they worried about pumped up lifters causing fluid friction? Without the why it is gobbly ****. Why would the lifters need to be bleeding down assuming the engine had already done that if it was worked on this was putting it back together? any ideas why they even said that?I think you read that wrong Mike,it says to let the engine sit for 5 minutes to let the lifters bleed down,before cranking it.
Why I'm curious is anything we can get from manu to follow crumbs that may explain why push rods leaving cup.
