I just bought AVS in channels but they get taped to the inside of the window channel.

I always thought they were snap in's. Anyone else have these? Experience with them?
I have not installed them yet as the weather has been crap.

Sounds like they sent you Seamless, they tape to the inside of the channel rather than snap in.

Problem I have is I want the chrome ones, and the only ones that do chrome are PUTCO and I think AVS has a set, not a lot of choices.

I have had the avs in channel on 2 trucks with no issues, prep surface, line them up and press in place, close window and keep closed overnight.

Thanks. When the weather warms up a bit, I'll install them and report.

I ordered AVS in channel from Amazon, but they seemed very cheaply made and actually had some scratches from the rubbing together I guess. Sent them back and ordered a set of weather techs in channels. Much higher quality, in my mind :Insane: worth the extra money.
