So I have a 2012 ram 1500 4x4 and I just installed my 3" Rough Country lift with 20x10 -12 Mavericks and 305/55R20 Toyo Open Country AT2's. I absolutely love the way the truck looks but I am experiencing some wandering and slight bump steer. I had the truck aligned with the stock wheels and tires the morning after I installed the lift and it drove fine so I know its the wheel/tire combo making the truck wander. Obviously the wider wheel and tires make a difference in how the truck handles. But my question is, what can I do about this? Is there any way to make the truck drive better with the new wheel/tire combo or am I SOL? It's pretty annoying and I was hoping that I could add dual steering stabilizers to help my issue. Or maybe get the truck re aligned with the new wheels and tires if that will make a difference. I'm new to the IFS world. I've always had 3/4 and 1 ton Cummins trucks and went half ton because I was just fed up with diesels and didn't need a heavy duty truck anymore. I used to just throw the camber out and add dual steering stabilizers and that usually took away my issues.

You got something wrong, I have an 8” lift and 37’s and my truck doesn’t wander. Is the alignment correct?

I had the alignment done after the lift was installed but I still had the stock wheels and tires. I set up another appointment to have the truck realigned with the new wheels and tires incase for some odd reason that is making the difference

I also just got aoter alignement today with the new wheels and tires and they found that the drivers front tire was slightly toed out, so they corrected that. But my question is, what can I do about this? Is there any way to make the truck drive better with the new wheel/tire combo or am I SOL? It's pretty annoying and I was hoping that I could add dual steering stabilizers to help my issue but I dont think those exist in the "rack and pinion" world. If you have true Bump Steer that means you have a worn component in the front end . Steering Stabilizers are a band aid when it comes to bump steer, its just hiding it not fixing it . If you have a shimmy that can be any number of things causing that ,especially on and independent suspension front end .

it drove 100% like a new truck before the wheel and tire install. Zero play in the steering wheel or tie rods and ball joints

It's actually not the problem. Had it realigned yesterday and it's still **** it. In fact, the messed up and now my wheel is crooked so now I'm going back again today to get that straightened out
