Noticed that my climate and fan control were unresponsive To speed and temperature adjustment.

Turned vehicle off, back on responsiveness returned as expected.

Any thoughts?

Well, my thought is everything is controlled by the computer so even the most basic functions are affected by even the slightest glitch. That's why sometimes turning it off and then back on fixes it. If it was mechanically controlled it would either work or be broken and you could figure out what was wrong. There are several threads on this site that discuss issues that the dealer and in some cases the manufacture cant fix, to the point of buying the truck back. In some cases magic is what operates these trucks apparently. Hopefully yours isn't that serious.

Any chance you can share the link to the area where I can find those threads?

I will try to skim through and find some but I can't remember the titles off the top of my head, I've been reading this forum for 4 years and have seen a lot of threads.

I think a lot of this stuff gets online because people are upset with the situation. I'm sure there are plenty of people with these trucks that love them and don't have any problems you never hear from.

Global warming. Everything related to how your climate control works or doesn't work is a direct result of global warming. At least you're not stuck on a shrinking iceburg, like those poor polar bears.

My 2016 RAM 2500 6.7, my wifes 2013 Dodge Grand Caravan and a few friends vehicles have ALL developed electrical GREMLINS from time to time.
Static build up in IC chips is a natural occurrence in electrical devices made by "The Lowest Bidder"
A simple disconnect of the battery for 20 minutes fixes these issues 95% of the time.
There has been a few times where I had to disconnect the battery overnight to fix the issue.

Please try to disconnect your battery or batteries for 20 minutes to fix.

Ever wonder WHY you have to put your radio stations back in memory when returned from the dealer sometimes?

Hell one time I got my wifes van back from the dealer and I had to change the radio and all commands back to English, someone had changed it to Spanish. I know 0 Spanish so it took awhile to get it figured out.

Following the experience, I turned off the vehicle and restarted. Didn’t have a problem since, but learned to take pics and video.

Dealer suggested that the vehicle may have thrown a code. It didn’t.

Based on some troubleshooting servicing dealer felt the issue was internal to the blower. Replaced it as part of extended warranty.
