What is the square cubbyhole under the AC vent designed to hold? There is also one over by glove box on my truck.

Not obvious to me what fits there, since I'm coming out of a couple 15 year old vehicles to my new to me 2019.:)

Mine is always full of the wife’s stuff. Chapstick, wet wipes, packaged toothpicks, etc.

The small cubby holes are actually for gear shift knob on a right hand drive truck. If you look is it the exact same shape as the shifter. In reality it is a useless compartment, I am planning on installing my auxiliary switches there.

I believe that spot is where the 110 volt inverter outlet is on higher optioned trucks

As mentioned. They are not designed to hold anything other than the option they delete. Headlight, 4x4 knob, and 110 outlet. And then the opposite for right hand drive.

That said, I have my gate pass for work, a flashlight, a pocket knife and as mentioned my wife has chapstick, napkins and such in hers.
