Started putting some mods back on since a 2500 upgrade is out of the question budget wise currently (and not sure a payment is smart right now with gestures around at everything). Added back on the remote oil filter kit with fresh oil and the larger filter, catch can, tuned ECU, and a few other smaller things. We're going to keep our eyes out for a truck that meets our needs at the price we like but we're not in a rush.

Water pump and coolant. Noticed the pulley wobbling on a pre camping trip inspection, luckily I had enough time to order one from Rockauto and the Mopar coolant from Amazon. Busted it out yesterday and I'm very thankful I have the efan swap since that made it way easier.

Towed the camper about 200 miles to Ocean City Md for a family campout for about a week with both our daughters and their families (son in-laws and 4 grand children). Still running strong just shy of 80,000 miles. Camper and truck loaded is around 9,000 pounds. Got about 10.5mpg on the way down, probably a little better going home since I'll be lighter.

I took a couple hours to install a beefier sway bar and ends on my 2015 1500. I was on the fence, but American trucks had this Nolathane as a crazy deal on an open box. The end links are Mevotech TTX. I was surprised by how visibly more stout they all appeared. IMG_7212.jpeg

I had a clunk in my rear end. Turned out it was the end links. Used those same TTX ones. They are a big upgrade over the stock ones.

So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.
I changed my oil and used the Purculator Boss filter for the first time, seemed like a good filter and since you can’t get rp- 20580 filters anymore I had to try something new.
I found one locally at a Tractor Supply store, their last one and only got it by 30 seconds, the guy behind me was looking for the same one.
My wife ordered 2 from Amazon, she called me and said they won’t work with my truck, but I told her to go ahead and order because @Burla said they will fit and I trust him completely with anything regarding oil and filters for our trucks

My custom graphics were finally installed. I now have the ONLY 4x4 Rumble Bee in the USA ( unless someone knows of another one)

Just put 762 miles on the Ram driving from FL to NC.

217,546 miles on the clock.

EVIC said 23.2 mpg, hand calc on first fill-up in GA was 21.3 mpg. Not too shabby for a high-mileage Hemi.

Love my truck.

I swapped out the HEMI side badges with gloss all black badges from Heltool. I think it looks a bit more mean without the red lettering with white outline for the 5.7 LITER View attachment 585272
Yes, the last thing on my 2014 that was bothering me was that red and lack of gloss. I'm ordering. Thanks for this!!

Replaced my left stub shaft and cv axle, what a fun job that was, just wish the truck was higher and instead of being stooped over, already have arthritis and next day paying for it

Left side is definitely the easier side too. I did both sides last year.

I installed a 2" RC front leveling kit. Came with spacers, bumpstops. I also added Rancho rs5000x struts/shocks. Rides good I think even though many frown upon them. Rebuilt the entire front end suspension. upper and lower control arms, inner/outer tie rods, sway bar links. All mevotech. I also added a 1" rear spacer to the coils. Wanted to keep some rake. Without the rear lift it looked cali leaned and I don't like that look. Have stock tires now till winter. Dealer I bought it from put on junk atturo az610 or what ever the model was. Heard they are terrible on snow and snowpacked roads common in MN lol. Plan on 285/75r17 toyo at3's. About as big of a tire I want my 3.6 v6 to handle. I thought about 305/70r17 but even with a pedal commander and a calibrated speedometer locking out 8th it would be taxing on it. Overall very happy. 3rd truck I've put an RC kit on and no issues. Eventually will get bilstein 5100s and HD lift coil springs. Very happy overall though once I get the bigger tires will look like a truck lol.
