Replaced the collector bolts on the driver side, replaced map sensor and just today replaced the evap purge valve, all in the name of tracking down a p219a code. Pretty confident the evap purge valve might have been the culprit after digging through some diagnostics and some previous starting issues (no hard starting, just a weird very fast start on hot starts after sitting for a few minutes).

Wow! Thats gorgeous! Are you happy with the result? Did you do door shuts inside as well?

I wanted to do my 21 but the quote was outrageous and didn’t allow for doors inside or anything. Just basic.

Nice to see this.

I am ecstatic with the results, and it’s not done. There are graphics being developed to go in it as well, attached is my rendering that they ware using as a starting point.
Special attention to my 4x4 Rumble Bee going on it as well.

The door jams were not done, it would have made the cost go up to the point that it should be full paint job rather than a wrap.
I’m not bothered by it.

Cost…… expensive ….. but far less than a new truck. I have had this one since it was new, taken very good care of it and is only has 75,500 miles on it. I decided I’m keeping it for the long term so the wrap made sense to me.

Let the Mods….. continue!!!

Took the wife grocery shopping in the "big" city like we always do once a week. She used to complain that if you don't have a back seat in a vehicle you can't do grocery shopping. Can't complain about that with a regular cab truck which has a solid fold lockable lid and protection from the elements. In fact, she embraces the truck for shopping now because she can cram more into the bed of truck than she can in her XTerra. Comes in especially handy when we make a provision run to SAM's Club. But she completely rules out a coupe in a passenger vehicle. From her experience with the Pontiac Sunbird too non-user friendly in loading groceries in the back seat.

Just before school morning start this past Tuesday I took my Angel to a big parking lot and we shredded what was left of my old winter tires as they are getting replaced this coming winter anyways.

Then put the summer shoes on and shined up Big Pumpkin (aptly named by my Girl ;))

I took the Carven progressive muffler off and put the factory back on. After 6years, i need some peace and quiet. Id still be using it if it didnt drone at 1500-1900rpm which is right at my cruising speed.

Way easier removing the factory one on a 2yr old truck then removing the Carven after 6 years. What a biotch to do.

I replaced the window sweeps with a $40 set from AliEpress.

Then the windshield cowl, with an equally cheap $120 piece, and that included delivery. It isn't a tight fit at the edges on the A pillar, but it's tight along the bottom, and, best of all, it's in one piece, which wasn't true if my original.

Changed oil. 178K miles first time using 30 weight oil on my 2018 with the 3.6L. Always used 0w20 year round since new. Figured why not? Most say it can't hurt and many say it protects a little more. Also first time using Amsoil motor oil. I use it on most other components but consider it a bit overpriced for motor oil. Just wanted to give it a shot. It sounds happy.
I've had the same drainplug for 8 years and thought I 'd order a new one. Ordered one on Amazon with a magnetic tip and 4 copper crush washers. Good fit.

M14x1.5 Magnetic Oil Drain Plug,Strong Magnetic Stainless Steel Oil Drain Nut Pan Bolt with 5PCS Copper Crush Washer Gasket to Prevent Leakage, Fits for Most Cars, Motorcycles, and Boats $6.99

Since I plan on getting a 2500, I pulled out the later model 4c head unit with Android Auto to toss into a Gen 4 2500 unless it's a 2018 which came with them.

Also need to pull the tow mirrors I put on since we have a travel trailer, and put the original power outside mirrors back on. Hate to do that until I find a truck I will definitely buy though.

Had my EPS unit replaced on my 17 Ram. Ouch, this one hurt the wallet!
