39 psi is factory min. Don't know if RAM recommended less pressure perhaps on trucks that came equipped with the 17" wheels/tires ? or it be me possible if you bought the truck used that somebody changed the TPMS thresholds before you. i think if i remember correctly the trigger is 6-7 psi below your TPMS min threshold so tipically with 39 psi min the light in the dash will be triggered if the psi came below 33 or 32 psi, and it'll tell you to pump to 39 psi. in your case if it says fill it up to 34 then your low light is prob coming at 27-28PSI ? I have mine set at 32 psi, so i can go as low as 25 psi before the light gets tripped and i only need to pump 32 psi before the notification/light goes away.
You may be right. I bought it new but the Express package deleted the 17" wheels and adds the 20s. Maybe they just didn't change the door stickers...

Strange indeed. I have a 14 Express as well and mine was set to 39. If you have Alphaobd you can check and change the TPMS threshold as needed.

I kinda figured I need to go above 39psi. I did not though. I will probably stop by again maybe tomorrow after work.
What a pain in the ass. lol
Thanks guys!

Very true, but then you have to worry about which stations carry nitrogen. Not a lot in my area. Only one station that I know of.
Once you use nitrogen, you cannot use air in the same tire, correct?
It’s not like you have to keep topping off the air in your tires. My last set of tires never need more air for the life of the tires. I have had my current tires for almost two years and haven’t had to add any more since the tires were mounted. Makes getting nitrogen in my tires an easy decision for me.

That's awesome.
How does it do in the cold/warm weather changes? Temp changes?

Nitrogen doesn't fluctuate like Oxygen does. try filling the tires with helium.. it makes the tire hum sound weird. :)

My RCSB would probably float away if I did that.... Hahaha!!!!

Called the dealership today about the EGR recall for my ED. The lady giggled and said on backorder until further notice. I figured but thought I'd try. Told her I'm not losing antifreeze yet, but when I do hopefully it'll start on fire and burn to the ground so I don't pay for a rental car for an extended amount of time. She was shocked while laughing and that I'm the first person she'd heard say that.

It's a little early in the week, but I'm gonna go out to Cooper Farms in Fairfield, TX on Saturday so I'm guessing I'm bringing home a bunch of random stuff and gifts for the holidays. Also, will go in search of some good BBQ while we're out and about.

I possibly would have held off of my RC rear bumper, if I’d seen that one. That’s 75% of the reason I bought it - STEPS!
#shortkidprobs

what bumper is that? I really wish mine had the cutouts

did 2 mods on my truck.

Glad to see you got I all done.

Nope, though I only lost about 1/2 overall diameter. Height wise it's impossible to see the difference. I hated the width of those 315s. I drive 150 miles a day and once at 1/2 tread these wider tires ALL had bad mannerisms in lousy weather, no matter which brand. The truck genuinely feels different with the 285s. I drive too much to validate anything bigger, plus I have the 3.0 diesel and enjoy my 25+mpg.

Top it off with the fact I could get the 315s to rub the tops of my fenders at full stuff. Though not a super common occurrence, I wasn't looking to test my luck. So far I'm happy I went this route, especially with the weather we've currently been seeing.

Your reviews are some of the reasons I wi t go any taller than 33”. Still toying with the idea of wider though. Phatty looks a little anemic, IMO

Factory vinyl was peeling beyond 5 foot visual rule, replaced with polycarbonate trim(piano key).

I can’t for the life of me understand why folks pull it off and leave it off, especially when all the windows are tinted. I did a CF wrap on mine

Let me know how it turns out. Have a. eaton in my Foxbody, and love it
