I bought the truck with them on it so im not sure when they were originally installed. They were dried out but had decent tread left.
I put 30k on them, and yeah, definitely used up more than i should have. haha
I believe you 100%. They wear much faster with IFS than a solid axle, and because of them being cheap, they are manufactured cheap. When its manufactured cheap, your chances of having a defective tire are higher. (Not being a circle, resembling more of an oval)
I rolled all of mine on the concrete at work to see if any wobbled or were off round visually. They all rolled true, but they are also heavy as ****.
Mounting and balancing went very well. Balancer called out for 10oz. weight on the worst tire. Techs said that bags would be a safer bet for balancing them. I trusted their knowledge and went with them. Hit 70 -80MPH on the way home with zero vibrations or wobble. I did take a dirt road for a minute to shake up the bags before hand so I knew they had opened up.
It feels great and honestly these tires seem quieter than the Toyo's were.
Time will tell how wear and traction are, but based off my buddys experiences (2500 diesel, tuned) he loves them and gets great wear and traction.
I hope my deal remains a deal and not a waste of time and money.
Here are some pics, don't mind the filth:
