My 2017 has 9005 high beam and H11 low beam. Maybe 9005 fits both, but those are the ones I have in my quad lamp headlights. I swapped with LED bulbs a few years ago and replaced low beams again right before winter.
I should have clarified, 9005 in both on 2016+ "projector" headlights.

Got it. Would make it easier if they used same bulb for both in the quad lamp. I may swap for projector style soon anyways. I was looking at a few aftermarket projector headlights.

Got a new front bumper, just not sure when I'll get to putting it on. I have all the time in the world since I was laid off and am collecting severance. Just need nice weather. I went with an off branded choice that didn't have a ton of reviews, but liked the look of the bumper and for the price I am happy with the purchase. I put a rear steel offroad bumper on in October (hooke road and like that bumper alot, just don't like their front bumpers). Here's the link to the front bumper I got. I'll post pictures when I get some nice enough days to work on it or maybe go to my son in laws shop at his work to work on it inside (he's the diesel mechanic for his families paving business and fixes nearly everything with an engine). I just hate asking him to have to go to the shop on the weekend so that I can work on my truck. Might have some nice enough days coming up to work outside. Tired of being stuck inside.

This week, I got around to designing a new cap for my RAM bumper.
The old one was lost a couple years ago and my truck is now 14 years old.
I used TinkerCAD online to design it and then had my friend 3D print it and glue on my college logo.

So I searched the forum for a thread like this and didn't find anything. I figured it would be fun to have a thread that everyone can watch what everyone is doing each week.

This week I put on Steelcraft nerf bars, and right now I'm getting the permaplating put on the truck. This way it gets a real good bath.
My truck was nice enough to pass VA state inspection & emissions only needing a 3$ bulb, third brake light, was pleasantly surprised so I let the install for 14$.
I had to do cat’s a couple years back, 2k, and keep expecting the county to say long tubes won’t pass, good to go for a least a year anyways

Finished buttoning up some of the work I did on my 4.7 last week now that I'm feeling a bit better from a sinus infection that turned into bronchitis. Cleaned up some wiring and re-secured some hoses since the original clips broke.
Now I just need to find a good set of replacement exhaust manifolds for the 4.7 since I don't think BD Diesel has any.

Got new headlights, projector with gloss black background. Look similar to newer stock projector headlights. They have led running and parking lights and come with regular bulbs, but I already bought led bulbs to put in before I even install. I have led bulbs in my quads and led fogs and love the led in comparison to the regular bulbs. They're bright now doubt, but are aimed well. I've been blinded by newer cars with 100% stock led lighting. I'll be sure to adjust the new ones when installed. I'll install the new headlights when I do my new front bumper. No point to taking stuff apart twice. I'll post up pics once I install. I'll add a link here to the ones I got as well. Wish the weather would cooperate here in PA. Got a little warmer with temps above freezing to finally start melting snow and now we may get more this weekend.

Had ordered some 285/65r20s and had them installed. Had issues with shipping and ended up having to go picked up a set, luckily was able to get them installed before the snow storm today.

Nice what tires did you get? I just put 275/65R20s on mine and love them. I updated my tire size with my tuner, but could have used my alfaobd as well. The Mastercraft Courser Trail HD tires do great in the snow which we've had plenty of this year.

Predator new mutant XAt. Yeah when I was running running 275/65s I updated my speedometer using Alfa, I just haven't driven far enough yet to figure out how far off my speedometer is yet. Driving around on wet pavement they seemed pretty decent. I'll see how they are in the snow today. My experience has been wider tires are terrible in the snow.

Definitely true on wider tires, although those aren't too much wider then stock 20s. Mine are (27565r20) 10.8 inches wide and 285s are 11.2 wide i believe.

Honestly, the best truck I ever had in snow was my old 2010 silverado 4.8 with the manual shift transfer case and rear locker with the factory 265/70/17 junk sr-a's. It just would hook up in snow. Next best setup was the same truck with a 275/70/18 with general grabber at2's. As soon as I threw a set of 285/70s on it, the truck was absolutely terrible in the snow.
But, the little bit of driving I did today on these tires on the ram, they feel ok. Back when I had the Silverado, I had to drive to work in pretty much any weather. Now, this job shuts down and I'm not driving in snow near as much.

Updated the sway bar end links a little. I see a lot of these mevotech supreme breaking and I'm pretty sure people are overtorquing them.

Put my new projector headlights in today since it was so nice out. I'll add a picture when I get a chance to take one. Didn't have enough time to do the front bumper. We have some nice temps coming our way soon so I'll get it done soon. Also got my new lithium batteries for my camper so that I can upgrade to a dual battery setup for my camper. Charging the batteries now.

Changed my oil. It was badly needed.

Also discovered a heat shield hanging on by one corner, and this insulation stuff sagging. Removed both. Did a test drive and confirmed the shield falling and sliding on the catalytic converter was the culprit for the abrasive noise I've been hearing. The good thing is, the noise arrived around the same time I had a little 4x4 shifter glitch. So i was relieved to know it wasn't damage to the 4x4 system.

Traded my beloved ‘14 Big Horn for a ‘22 Longhorn. The old girl treated me so well and was still running strong but the siren call of the wondrous 5th gen features was finally just too much to resist.

I feel a little guilty like I have committed an act of betrayal though. The ‘14 was a good truck.
