Hey guys what’s up. So I just installed all new ball joints and new 2” leveling kit in the front of my 99 ram 1500 4wd. And I’m looking at these bad boys

No, but I think your truck is sweet, and would look great with some mud tires on those clean chrome rims too!

What offset on the wheels? Any issues you might have will be due to offset

To be honest man I really don’t know I was just looking at them and the people that worked there was busy so I didn’t get much info on them so imma call back today and find out. And thank tx I appreciate that. I thought about just putting mudders on it but the stock wheels just ain’t wide enough for me. But yes my rims r in pretty good shape tho I try to keep them as clean as I can.

Being a 12.50 wide tire, you very well might see some rubbing on the control arms at lock or near lock. It's no guarantee either way.

But for reference, my wheels are 17x9 with -12mm offset. 12mm is about a half inch. Negative offset sticks them out away from the truck more. I was able to run 315/70/17s which come out to 34.4x12.4 with no issues on just a 2" level.

So you PROBABLY won't have any problems but you MIGHT have some minor rubbing.

I see. Well would it hurt if I put some spacers behind it maybe?

dont run spacers if you tow / use your truck off road. They break, I've seen it actually happen. With the price of those wheels and tires, You can order the same with the size / offset you need.

Yea I know I was Afraid of that. Well that shop actually had just those in stock and they said they was used but the tires still had nipples on them. They was a bit cheaper than new ones. They actually have a finance program for wheel and tire packages and the new ones r 300 down and 75 a week. And the used ones r 100 down and 65 a week

Nothing wrong with spacers if you do it right. Making sure they're hubcentric is one of the big things people don't do that causes failure

I was thinking like the slip on spacers not the one that bolt on 1/4 inch or so

not a bad price, just make sure you get a total amount on that, not a weekly for the rest of your life:)!

Not a wheel guy so all I can add is I cleared 37s on a level now im running 40s. The 40s had a slight rub but I just heated the plastic under fender liner up, and it was gone lol
