Ok so before I get hammered I didnt see any other spot to post this question at? Exterior? Towing? Lift?? Anyway... I got a nice little beater (o1 15oo 4x2) to haul my HD around in. My issue is i dont like the wheels. Previous owner tried to spray paint them- just know they suck. I was contemplating on just getting them powdercoated or plasti dipped and putting on some 2" wheel spacers and calling it a day till tax return. However I found some nice 20x9 wheels for a decent price. They're called American Outlaw Patrol wheels. My style. Question is will they fit on my 2wd truck without rubbing issues? I havent been able to find a definitive answer to this through all of my google explorations. All feedback accepted however anybody running a similar set up on a STOCK height 2wd is who Id prefer to hear personal experiences from. Thanks.

No one should hammer you for the wrong sections. There is an exterior section, so i moved the thread there for you.

Like said above, what size tire/ and what backspacing on the wheels

Thanks for the replies. As far the wheel size goes I dont really know just because I want to ensure I dont have any rubbing issues etc. The wheels specs are as follows:
Rim width- 9"
Offset- 20
Hub bore- 107.95
Backspacing- 5.71
Load Rating- 2400

Hopefully thats the information you guys need to make a recommendation. Ive seen guys rolling 20x10 wheels with those low profile offroad tires. i dont know the ins and outs on whether theyre good or bad but I like the aggressive stance it gives these trucks. Thanks again.

Your answer lies in the info to these two questions.

Not to sound rude but the only thing close to answering my questions would be that they are 20"x9" rims.

Is it positive or negative 20 for the offset?

On a couple "other" Dodge forums there are some members running the factory 3rd gen flower petal style 20's with 275/60/20's on 2WD second gens without rubbing issues but those wheels are +19.04 offset with 5.25 offset. Besides checking the bore , the offset is the only issue because the lower the offset the more it pushes the wheel away from the truck (the higher the offset the more it gets pulled in)

i think he was agreeing with you saying to the o.p. that the answer lies in your two questions.

My bad guys my question is in regards to tire fitment based off of those wheel specs. So what size tire would i be looking to order that will ensure i have NO rubbing issues utilizing those wheels. Also in regards to the offset it is positive.

Here is a good website to illustrate what all of the numbers mean.

It gives you a good comparison. if you know what you already have you can use this tool and a tape measure to determine what will work for you.
I don't own a 2nd gen but maybe that helps.

No problem. Don't forget to post a pic when you get your new wheels! :)

For sure. Figured i get the wheels over the spacers anyway. Long as nothing important comes up to put block in the road on that plan.
