Hey all, first time buying aftermarket wheels, wanting to get confirmation that the sizing works.
I’m wanting to mount 35x11.5 r17 tires onto 17x9.5 rims 5.25 backspacing 0 offset. Just looking for reassurance that this will work well.

The 9.5 width of the wheels seems a little uncommon, i believe my oem rims on my Laramie are 20x9, and it seems most aftermarket wheels people go with are 8.5 or 9 inches wide. My reason for going down to a 17 is more sidewall for offroad use. Will the 11.5 wide tire be too stretched on the 9.5 wide wheel?

Also, can you guys confirm this will fit close to flush with the fender flares/maybe sticking out very slightly and not rub?

I will be doing this along with a 2.5” leveling setup. Thanks for any input!

I did a level with 18”x9” 35x12.5 & did have slight rub on my uca’s, they are Carlis a little thicker than stock, ended up adding 1” spacers to fix. I would think the 11.5 would be fine, forgot to say my rims are+ 1 offset are pretty close to flush with flaresC2D7A936-8458-4AB7-9131-F45AF492045B.jpeg

Thanks! That fit looks perfect. I’ll be running the Icon ucas, dont know how that will look compared to yours.

curious on what 35x11.5-17 tire you are going to run. I ran 35x11.5-17 Toyo AT3 on my jeep with AEV 17x8.5 wheels and were good I think 9.5" wheel might be a tad wide as less side protection on the wheel. I like that size tire but did not see any in E rated.

Yep, those are the tires.

And yep, thats what I was wondering about regarding the fit with 9.5” wheels. Also not 100% sure on not going e-rated. Its on P metric now, and I want more robust tires for off road and future towing, unsure if the c-rated toyos are enough or not. I know they’ll ride well at least.

I guess I missed what rig you are putting them on. If going to run that size offroad I would stick to a narrower wheel.
