PE-HD, PE-LD., EVAL cavity #1, 22191N is the part number. Is this the 32 or 26 gallon tank?
I'm curious as I went to fill up and I had ran it unusually low for me, the gas warning light came on, and it only took 22 gallons to fill it. I am supposed to have the 32 gallon tank, but that would make me think I have the 26 gallon tank.
Thanks
I did search a bit and didn't find much.

Go here:

Ram Trucks - Contact Us

Click Equipment Listing on the left and enter your VIN. It will tell you what you have. Sure sounds like you have the 26 tho

I'm still confused. Pulled out my window sticker and looked up my truck by VIN on above site and both say 32 gallon tank. Can anyone pull up the actual gas tank by the part number? I'd rather not call chrysler or my dealer if possible.

Right after I got mine, one of the first times I filled it, it took 27 gallons when the light came on. Sounds to me like it has the 26 also, but if the build sheet shows the 32, I would have to wonder.

One way to find out is run it till the 'Low Fuel' warning comes on and then see how much it takes. I am going to fill mine today and the light has been on for about a week, but just got the 'Low Fuel' warning this morning on the way to work.

You putting 27 in tells me you have the 32 not a chance u could get 27 in a 26 gallon tank.

And to op if you were on E and put only 22 in and it filled it all the way up I would say it sounds like the 22 when mine is on E and says about 30-40 miles till empty I can put 24.9-25.2 in and I have the 26 gallon tank.

Like I say I'm thoroughly confused by it. The low fuel light did flash and it took 22 gallons. Both my build sheet and the site say 32. I may have to call them and check by the part number.

You may just have the 26 like has been stated. I filled mine up on the way home for lunch and, based on what I described above, it took 29.2 gallons.

Where did you see the part numbers, are they on the side of the tank? If I were to look under mine could I see them and then let you know if they match what you have.

Right underneath the tank towards the back. Near the rear driver side wheel.
Mine is a 2014 so not sure if that would make a difference for the part numbers.

I will check later when I head home. You could very well be right about the part numbers from 2010 to 2014, but you would think a gas tank is one of those things that really doesn't change from year to year to much, if any.

As soon as my light comes on for low fuel, my 32 gallon tank needs 26 gallons to fill up.

Ok, I got lucky on the second photo got the area that has the information on the tank.

The part number is at the top of the list of information, but the stuff at the bottom matches what you are listing in post #1.

Not sure if the actual part number matches, but this is what it shows.

Mine looks different than that but same part number. Thanks for checking from a fellow Idahoan. Must be the 32 gallon tank with possibly a ****** low fuel sensor.

I have a nephew that lives in Nampa, works at Edmark. We get over that way every so often. Maybe next time we are that way we could meet and say hi.

If I park on a moderate or steep incline my low fuel light will come on ridiculously early. It will eventually go off without filling up if I am on level ground for a while but it takes some time. My guess with your 22 gallon fill up is that you were on a steep grade or just bounced around and triggered the sensor.

I believe I have the 32 gallon tank and my light comes on around 26 gallons. Someday when I have some time I'm going to throw a gas can in the back of my truck and see when it runs out to know for sure.

yEAH, Fuel light will come on at 26 gallons for a 32 gallon tank. I believe it comes on at 22 for a 26 gallon tank.
