2016 Ram 1500 crew 4x4, 5.7l, 8peed, 3.92’s. I’m looking at these two boost options for daily driving and pulling a trailer. Has anyone had any experience with either as a daily driver? aBoth kits have similar power claims and warranty’s.
Already have an unlocked PCM and Diablo tuner running a canned tune at the moment. I would like to get a custom tune after the installation of the S/ C. I believe that both come with a tune to get started.
Looking for real world feedback. Not planning on cam or heads for a while, at 41k miles now.

I wouldn't do either if you're planning on pulling a trailer, unless you plan on upgrading to forged internals.Stock piston rings will expand under boost heat and break the top ring land, and by pulling a trailer you're just compounding the problem.Buying the blower is the cheap part, keeping it running afterwards can be expensive

Either one has the ability to pulley down and make more power than your Hemi can handle. So if you are staying with their out of box configuration I do like the E-Force better if you are not going to build the engine for more boost. The E-force has the front feed inlet instead of the rear feed which is more efficient for power and more importantly makes the cooling more efficient. The TVS 2300 that is in the E-Force package should offer more low end grunt as well. The Whipple will make more power at higher RPMs but you will see more tq out of the E-force at low RPMs.

Either one is a great choice and for sure will put a smile on your face. We do offer Edelbrock and if you are interested in a quote please feel free to message me for a quote.

I chose whipple for my truck based on the whipple blower is a larger displacement and is supposed to be more efficient. Their kit is a really nice setup. I did a write up on the install a few years ago when I put it on. My truck ended up making right on 500whp at 7ish psi. This is also at 3000ft elevation and was the middle of summer which is pretty impressive.

If you’re willing to spend the money for a blower you should also be at least mentally prepared for a possible engine replacement/upgrade in the future. While the hemis can handle about 8psi and live just fine there is always the possibility of popping a piston as Wildone said.
