Not my cup of tea. Little offset looks good but, all those are too much. When you can see your brake rotors from the back of your truck something is wrong.

A ******* rectangle with women's interior options?

And an auxiliary tow bar.. push the blue oval on the grill and those two giant chrome bars extend out so it can be towed home after breaking the tow hooks on the first go 'round..

..it's hideous and gaudy.. much like the huge RAM on the tailgate of the '16's..

I don't think a 2500 or 3500 stock is same height as a 1500 on 6". they are a few inches taller if I recall

most of these aren't even on long arm kits. they don't look that big but pics deceiving too.

They all are on long arm kits for sure and have much more lift than you're thinking from the pictures. cjstroker, mr.16wides, and k_sorto92 (the Ford, white Ram, and blue Ram) are on 12" of lift. That's equivalent to 15"-16" of lift on a 1500. So they are huge. The width of the stance just makes it look deceiving.

But the main thing is that a) they've had to cut plastic and metal to make it even slight work, and b) they've probably installed steering stops to limit the movement and not tear off a bumper or fender so they're turning radius will be horrendous. You gotta remember that most of those guys are not daily driving those trucks.

Got pic of said 3-4"?

Mine stick out about 4". Here's a couple pictures for you.

hmmm I can get longer spindles to kick mine out even further? I'm running same rim

Your truck doesn't have spindles, so no.

Not my cup of tea. Little offset looks good but, all those are too much. When you can see your brake rotors from the back of your truck something is wrong.

Agreed. I'm all for a wide stance within reason. But there is such thing as too wide and it looks ridiculous.

For the record, I threw my 2" wheel spacers on with my 22x12 -40 offset Forces and 37x13.5's just for ***** and giggles. I have 9" of lift on a 3500 so equivalent to about 12" of lift on a 1500 and this was the result.

Did it look sick, yep it did. Was I able to turn at all. Not a chance... Hit both the fender and the bumper FAR before full lock.

So like I said, more lift is needed for one (more than you'll get on a 1500 without going to a custom built lift), and then either steering stops to the point where daily driving your truck isn't a feasible option anymore, or cutting the **** out of your bumper and fender (which some guys do).

where to start lol

I always thought long arm kits you see the ladder bars (if that's what they are called). I also didn't realize the 2500 3500 trucks sit that much higher stock. even with those huge lifts I agree there's no way they didn't modify, and I'm sure they can't turn well at all. looks badass. envy over herr!

we have the same tires and rim size and last night I out on my stocks 20s n tires for winter. I bought a set of 1.25 bora spacers and wanted to see what my fuel rims would look like/clear before putting on stockers. the spacer lug actually hit the back of my rim not letting me full seat the fuels. measured with stick rule and it was about 1.75 inches off hub. we righted by hand the lugs and lowered lift (not all way as didn't wsnt to break studs). the 1.75 at full turn hits the lower plastic piece and a touch of the pinch weld on inner fender. I know we talked and you didn't think the 1" would fly. I do believe I'm about 1 to 1.5 inches higher than you. also when I did body lift it pushed my fender out towards road ahead about .5 to .75 ( can't notice unless I point it out). anyways in the spring I'm gonna some 2" and see what happens. I will have to remove lower plastic valance, and fold over that 1" pinch weld that sticks out. I just love the look of those trucks personally. mines a pavement queen and gets drove 25 miles a week on average.

anyways thank you for the reply and responses, as always I love your truck. I wish I knew more about lifts and trucks as I would have traded mine in on a f250 sd. oh well live and learn. in a few yrs I will have me a monster truck like one of those posted.

thanks again brandon

The traction bars on the back are an optional accessory to add to the lift if wanted. They aren't required. Long arms refer to the front lift setup only.

I highly doubt you're any higher than me. But that can be confirmed by measuring your fender heights front and rear. That way we know for sure.

What I have learned in the past little while (and I should have clued into it long ago) is that the track on a 2500/3500 is wider than a 1500. So 12" wides on my truck stick out further than they do on yours. That's also partially because my front diff is off to one side by 0.5". So that changes the calculations that I had done before comparing what you could get away with compared to what I could.

one more thing how much would I gain if I went from 20x12x-44 to 20x14x-76

Stance wise, you'll gain about 1.25" per side.

reason I asked is I was thinking about selling mine and going with a wider more offset. it will be cheaper, faster, and easier to just go with the 2" spacers and call it done. thanks for all help, learn something everyday. really regret dumping money into this 1500. smh

As others said I like a nice wide stance but I think it gets to a point where its too much. Im seeing a lot of new trends coming up lately in the truck world that Im not that into. There are plenty of these examples all over instagram, some just seem ridiculous. I really like Brandon's setup, nice and clean.

Ladder bars are the same as traction bars, they prevent axle wrap on the rear axle. Long arms are used on front axles to flatten the angle of the arm, which greatly improves ride quality.
