Discount tire is having a sale starting tomorrow so I'd like to go ahead and get my tires ordered. I currently have some Rancho QLL’s that I’m hoping to install in the next week or two. I plan to do a either a 3” BL or a 4” SL further down the road so I’m looking to get a rim/tire combo that will work for both setups. I’m thinking 35x12.50 tires and 20x10 rims w/ 0 offset. Will I be able to run those with just my QLL’s? If not, should I go with a 20x9 rim instead? TIA

Well scratch the 20x10's, I ended up ordering a set of these instead. Remington High Country PVD Chrome 20x9 w/ 0 offset. Now I just need to figure out if I can get away with some 35x12.50's on them....

Yea I wasn't aware of that either. Discount Tire carries them, they were on sale for $120 off and came with an extra $160 in rebates so they ended up somewhere around $900 shipped. I couldn't find any negative reviews on them so I figured I'd give them a "shot". (get it?)

They'll rub a bit..most likely. I'm running a -12 offset and my 35's rub at full lock on the fender liner, mud flaps, and did rub on the factory fender flares until I trimmed them.

Thanks for the info. I don't have mud flaps or flares and I could probably deal with a little rub on the liner at full lock until I do my 4" lift. I'm also entertaining the idea of just buying a 1.5" BL to have on hand if necessary.

Damn bro, you got hosed. Wheel/tire combos are the way to go. I got my 35x12.50x20 and 20x9s together for 1450.

And what were they, black steel rims with Federals? lol PVD Chrome ain't cheap. I'm not a fan of black wheels on dark blue trucks, not to mention it seems like everyone has black wheels these days. Also I want to reuse my TPMS sensors so it didn't make sense to buy a package and then have them dismounted and remounted again.

Don't like black on blue, but ya like green accents on blue. Was just saying, but you can enjoy spending 3 grand on 35s and wheels.

Oh, and those federals were taken off with 30k on them. Easily another 10 to 15k left.

My 37" toyo's and 20" motos were around $2700.

You get what you pay for.

Ha! I knew it. Anyway, I plan on getting either Coopers or Nittos and both can be had for around $1100 shipped. So I'll have a total of $2000 invested, not $3000. I'll go cheap on a lot of things but tires aren't one of them, not with my 3 little kiddos in the back seat.

Oh I know my 37" nittos we're $1850. I would've gladly gotten federals again if they made a 37.

I'd love to know where you're getting nittos in a 35x12.50x20 for $1100. It'll be my future place for tires. I'm assuming.you're opinion on federals comes from the reviews on the blown out 33's. The 35s are better built and I haven't seen a single review of one being blown out.

Discount Tire Direct. The Nittos are actually $1205 after rebates.... my bad. The Coopers are $1133 though.

I'm running 20x9, 0 offset with 295/60 Terra Grapplers, and I have lots of room everywhere. I think that the 35x12.5 will fit on that wheel without any issue at all.
