I have an issue with my passenger rear window not rolling down. It doesn't roll down at the main window switch, or the passenger rear door switch. Interesting thing is that it started with my drivers rear window. So I started by removing, and reinstalling the door switch and got the drivers to roll down to confirm I didn't have a loose connection. With that fixed, it now moved to the passenger rear. I pulled the codes from the door module and it said lost communication to main window switch. My question is, if the main switch were to be bad, would I be able to roll the window down at its own door switch. Im somewhat mechanically inclined, have a multi meter and test light, but electrical is not my strong suit. Any direction would be appreciated

The main door switch takes a beating and is known to fail people leave windows open sometimes its usually the issue. You can take it apart and clean it to see if it helps I put a cheapo amazon switch in my truck its not perf but works for me I am sure others will comment

So I got it working. I think the door module was having an issue. I disconnected both door switches from the rear right and left. Cleared all the codes, and pressed both down and up button for both rear windows at the main switch with both rear switches still un connected. I reconnected both rear switches and now they work. Why this worked? I dunno. I tried connecting and reconnecting both switches, and clearing codes several times with out any change. Maybe something for others to try if they come into the same issue.
