Good evening all.
I need some assistance.
I recently replaced the headlight housings on my `98 1500 SLT. These housings came with LED's that are used as DRL's.
Here's what I was trying, but no success.
I was thinking about wiring a relay to the parking brake circuit, so that when the brake is on, the lights are off. When I release the brake, the lights come on.
However... When I do this, the BRAKE indicator on the dash stays on not dim, but not normal brightness either. So obviously, this isn't going to work.
Anyone have any ideas? I was trying to avoid wiring them to the ACC circuit, so in case I am sitting somewhere with the stereo or ACC circuit energized, there won't be a need to have them on.
Appreciate all the suggestions.
