Going to try the Icons I think - but can only find 24" in the A version, no B version, unlike the 22"r's which come A and B. Does it make that much if a difference? Seems most other brands spec the same wiper for Driver and Passenger side.

Whatever autisone has that’s mid price range. I change mine every year. A coat or two of rain x on windshield and I’ve never had any issues. The sun and dirt eat blades up. But I’m always in dust and dirt

I'm going to try refills on my OEM blades (which look like Icons). I like the look of them, and hate to spend $40 when I can spend $10 for refills. My experience with the Icons was that they chattered quite a bit and didn't always curve enough to make contact with the windshield all the way to the end of the blade. I even cleaned them and clay-barred my windshield to no avail. I don't mind spending money on something that is noticeably better, but they were not worth the extra expense for me.

Well over ten years ago, my first experience with icons was like that, that I had tried on a second-generation Dakota but haven’t had an experience like that again in a very long time. The icons I have had in the last 5, 6 years on my third-generation Ram have always performed as advertised.

I decided to stick with the 22's, I noticed the passenger wiper already comes right up to the molding as is...

2nd vote for rain-x /Getting 24's next time.
I lift the wipers away from the windshield before the snow falls..old new england trick ,

Took some time to clean windshield inside and out on Christmas day (I‘d picked up the truck the day before), applied anti-fog inside and rain-x outside.

There was a little frost on my car yesterday AM which really didn‘t clear up for about two miles driving. Washer mix barely worked, wiper smeared what was on there making it harder to see. I pulled over, let the defrosters work for five minutes, and drove on, eventually seeing clearly.

So.

My one job today is to drain the blue mix out of the washer tank and replace it with Rain-X 2 in 1 fluid - I bought four gallons at Wally World last night (the usualy nine thousand and one people were trying to check out with only 5 lanes out of 22 open) so I checked out in cosmetics in a line of 1 person.

Trying to decide on Bosch or Rain-X.

Thing about these is trying to recall which ones made the most noise the LAST time I decided not to buy them. I have a spare set of Rain-X I‘d stashed in my Tacoma, so I‘m pretty sure those were what I used last, and they seem to last about 6-8 months.

Great thread.

Michelin blades are what I use and put them in the factory covered arms.

I don't know off hand but there are actually 3 different "levels" of Mopar blades apparently. I believe it goes like this, value line, Magneti Marelli, and then OEM. So you have to be careful if you are buying them online and don't physically see which blade you are getting.

That set of Bosch Icons I had, I ended up throwing them away back in October because they started streaking real bad for some damn reason, like they had very small chunks out of them, much like an old set of blades will do. Only had them three months. I wasn’t very happy. Course, that wasn’t the first time that had happened with a set of icons I’ve had so after that, that’ll probably be the last set I buy in a long while.

Right now I’m using the Trico Force blades. So far so good I had a set of these long time ago that wasn’t worth a **** but hell, all of them’s gettin that way seems like.

Have you taken the wiper arms off? See the side ways T above the end of wiper blade. That is were wiper is supposed to stop/rest. Yours is 2" low. Unless there is some reason that I'm not aware off. You should raise your wiper arm, then it won't hit the molding.

Hmm, I have not, but I bought the truck used so perhaps the previous owner did. I'll look at adjusting it... Thanks.

So I removed and adjusted the arm up without much fuss - easy to see how a 24" would fit now. It's actually slightly above the T, those are the two notices, no in-between. I suspect whoever may have removed it last time for whatever reason decided to put it one notch down which is photo above. It works in either one of course. I'll run it the new "slightly above" way pictured here for a while and see if any issues...

My drivers side (22A) is streaking... kind bummed since they are less than 6mo old. I may replace it with a 24A, heck they are cheaper than oem right now on Amazon.

I used to think so for the most part about those but the last set of Icons I had didn’t even last six months before they started streaking like a cheap set of dollar store blades.

I’m about 5 months in on my Trico Force blades and they’re still wiping like they’re brand new.
