Update for LED Turn Signal Bulbs. Enabled Front Turn signal to Yes for LED"S and cured the Hyper Flashing. Set the Rear also for when I change those out also.

I can't remember but where does the key have to be while doing updates (acc./run)?
In most cases the updates seem to work fine without enabling the Ignition. I don't even turn the key on anymore to do mine but technically you're supposed to have it in the run position. I just checked on the door modules you posted and they are NON power folding door modules so they will not work for the power fold mirrors. 68225102AC and 60225103AC are the ones I have in my 2014.

My 2014 with factory 20" wheels, running factory sized 275/60R20 tires (aka 33" tires) is already set at 2640. What wheels/tires was your 2016 equipped with from the factory?

-K

Hmmm...

I updated mine a while back when I put on 35's...

But checking my latest pull, I see the following:

Vehicle Config 4:
Dynamic Tire Circumference: 2640.00 mm
Vehicle Config 6:
Dynamic Tire Circumference Front: 65535 mm

Now, I updated by choosing a stock tire, the lone 35" tire listed in the drop down list - not by entering a custom number or anything. But it did correct my speedo, so I assumed it worked. Makes me want to double check now.

I hadn't noticed the one in Vehicle Config 6. I have the same number in mine, but since 65535 mm would be an 821 inch tire, I suspect it's not used on our trucks. :)

Yeah I saw that lol... OK I checked again I'm still set for Toyo 35's, 2684mm. So that 2640 stock setting must get overridden by the setting in Tire Control maybe...dunno. But my mph was ~3 mph off when I went from 33's to 35's and this change fixed that. I will say, sometimes it does seem like my odometer is racking up miles a little too fast, but I just figured it was my imagination. Maybe I need to do a 10 mile test on the expressway and see if it matches up with GPS.

OK this is the most helpful place ever, where do we donate / help fund it???

@Scar1331 This is a link to an old thread.

https://www.ramforum.com/threads/supporting-member-bonus.22654/

6 months ago I clicked on the payments part of the link and took me right to Paypal and I made my supporting member donation that way. Next thing I knew I had a "Supporting Member" blue banner under my screen name!
I might be incorrect but I think the free decal promotion might be over as I never received any contact for it ?

You are absolutely correct, this is the most helpful place ever, welcome aboard!!!

The auto folding side mirror option

Auto Fold doesn't work on our trucks, unfortunately. You will get the option is settings, but it won't work, it will just unselect as you noticed.

However, you can do it with a Ram Tazer, but it's kinda spendy...

https://zautomotive.com/product/tazer-ram/

In Vehicle Settings mode, it duplicates some of the popular Alfa changes, sort of a poor mans Alfa as it only does a few settings - but costs 10x as much lol.

But, in Live Functions, (leaving it in ODB Port) it can enable Auto Fold on startup/shutdown. It can also enable in motion Nav use, ie enter addresses, etc. I assume that also covers Travel Ling features like movie times, sport, etc. I am mildy interested, but not sure at $250.

It also does light stuff, line lock, cooldown mode, and they say they can do Global Windows UP, which we cannot do with Alfa. If any of that appeals to you it becomes easier to stomach the price I suppose.

Just not sure if worth it for auto fold and Nav jailbrake, which is all I would use it for. Also, it's kind of "long" for an ODB Port tool, so would hang down a bit on our trucks. And, only a 90 day warranty.

I'm a 2017 Durango Citadel 5.7L AWD owner and wanted to post for others my experience with AlfaOBD and the tow package. This is the most comprehensive forum on the web for this tool and our Mopar toys! So I wanted to give back.

Just got my toy as a certified pre-owned off-lease purchase. It came with a MOPAR OEM Receiver hitch and wiring installed. I didn't expect it because Window sticker didn't have the tow package listed. I purchased and got it home to find out no outputs through the trailer wiring.

I researched the issue and realized this was probably the Sales code wasn't enabled in the BCM. That's when I found this thread.

Purchased OBDLink MX and AlfaOBD.

I found out the following needed to be set to enable the lights (at least for my vehicle).

In BCM menu Select Car Configuration Change and enable the following:

Options -
  • CBC Features - Trailer Tow Present - Yes
  • CBC I/O - Trailer Tail Lamp Relay Ctrl Output Present - Yes
  • CBC I/O - Trailer Turn/Stop Relay Ctrl LT Output Present- Yes
  • CBC I/O - Trailer Turn/Stop Relay Ctrl RT Output Present- Yes
  • CBC I/O - Trailer Backup Lamps Output Present- Yes
I did these one at a time and verified after #1 and 2 nothing still worked. But after #3 I had Left Turn and brake lights but not Right. So you could safely do all 5 steps. Also used AlfaOBD to activate lights from rear of the truck to verify.

Hope this helps others.

Guys, if you don't mind, I need one of you to go into AlfaOBD to Dodge Charger LD (2013) and find me the equivalent (if there is one) to the CSM settings you guys speak of? I don't have the acronym there.
Thanks

Bump for Justin.
Anyone enable this with AlfaOBD? I see the list in the op for it...

Code:
Trailer Brake Controller:

Trailer select csm:
Select “yes”

Trailer name csm:
Select “yes”

Trailer type csm:
Select “yes”

P/T chassis net-ITBM/HWM integrated trailer brake module:
Select “enable”

M² Mods.
