Just wanted to let you guys know that I have successfully swapped out my 44-44 for a 44-45. All you need is a 44-45 case, a 44-45 switch and AlfaOBD software. Once the case and switch is swapped out you just need to change the “Transfer Case Type” within the BCM. This is done with the AlfaOBD software. You change the t case type from 44-44 to 44-45 the truck then controls the encoder motor perfectly. The result is your truck will perform as if it came from the factory with 44-45.
