Question for FOB programming. I have a 2013 3500 with push-n-go. I bought it with only one FOB. Today, I ordered an extra FOB and want to program it to the truck. I have the PIN code as well. I understand the procedure is the same as the walk through at the beginning of the forum, except you use highline. I know there is another FOB out there in someone's possession. I'd like to disable it. Can someone tell me the steps to delete it? If I delete all FOBs will I be able to reprogramming my current FOB back into the system? Is there some "unpairing process" I need to do to make the key re programmable?
Thanks
You can’t remove just one fob from the rf hub. You have to remove them all. If you’re truly concerned about the missing fob, you’ll have to clear the two original fobs first, THEN start programming new fobs. This will also refer your current factory fob useless.

So there is no way to "erase" the current FOB and make it usable again?

Not using Alfa. I believe some locksmiths can do it, but the cost might be prohibitive especially if you consider how inexpensive "generic" fobs are (from Amazon, etc).

FWIW I took a generic fob apart and compared to my OEM and they looked identical. Can vouch for the quality of each electronic component being the same, but both fobs work and the boards and parts look the same.

I have a check engine light again, it's usually code P050. Somehow I can't remember how to get to the area with AlphaOBD where I can reset the code. Pops up about every 3 months. 2018 ECO. Have the bypass cable just at 75 the memory ain't what it used to be. Can someone help????

Edit: Took care of it with OBDLink!!

I have a question regarding my 2011 1500. Seeing as Alfa does not support my year, would I still have to have codes added if/when I add factory options that my Ram did not come with?

It does support your year. There is a 2009-2012 specific thread somewhere.

Yup, that works. I took a quick look and unfortunately it looks like you made some changes before doing a dump. I do see one thing that strikes me as odd and that is these two:

Car configuration change: Left Low Beam Voltage Regulation: ' 14 V ' -> '11 '
Car configuration change: Right Low Beam Voltage Regulation: ' 14 V ' -> '11 '

My '14 is set to 13v from the factory, I think your '18 would default to 14v. If that's not set right the truck may shut them off thinking you've got a bulb out or a short. I would check on that first.

Just FYI, those trying to enable DRL don't be dumb like me. Have someone look at the lights when you put it in drive, they don't work in park (at least in my 14 SLT). I also find it strange that my halos come on with headlights but not with running lights. Tried high beam, low beam, turn signals. Strange.

DRLs don't turn on in park or if the parking brake is set, pretty much all of them work like this.
I'm guessing the halos are internally wired to the headlights? That would be explain why the turn on when they do.
If you can externally wire the halos, you can add the dedicated DRL circuits to your SLT.

OK so not sure how this is possible but it's true. I changed tire size yesterday from my Pirelli All-terrain Plus 275/60R20 (33") to BFG KO2 275/65R20 (34") due to needing higher load capacity for towing. I read the instructions on changing tire size in Alfa and it's pretty straight forward so i got my tape measure, level, MX and Alfa ready and went to it.

Now before the tires were installed they rolled one next to the Pirelli's and yes they were visibly about an inch taller. I placed the level on top dead center tire and measured the tire height at about 33.2" with 45 PSI inflation. What? Not even close to 34"! Yet they are visibly taller than were the other tires. Double checked the specs and they are 34" Now i knew this going in but wth? So with the wife in tow we got on the freeway and i had her fire up phone GPS and we checked speeds. At 65 on the speedo her GPS said 65! WTH! I don't get it. Because i'm **** i'm checking again today smh.

Manufacturer specs and real life measurements are almost always different. Measuring a tire unmounted compared to mounted compared to on the truck with weight on it will all measure different. My 35's measure about 34-34 1/2".

I get a bit of variance but how do you call a 33" tire a 34"? But then I'm guessing the stock size wasn't 33" either obviously. Based on that I'd have to say the speedo wasn't correct with the stock size if it is now? Who knows

Installed Trail Ridge tow mirrors from 1aAuto and now my adjustments are off when the mirrors are folded up. Anyone know if you can change it in alphaobd so when they are folded up the mirror adjustments are correct?

I think it would be cool if the "back" button would turn on my backup camera anytime I want. I'm new to the Alpha OBD so I haven't dug too deep into it yet, but I think it's worth investigating.
