Yeah, it's a wild west show now. Life used to be a lot simpler.

I saw this happening at work with EPA having completed it's congressional mandates, they kept right on going to stay employed rather being disbanded as they should have been.

The level of absurd micro regulations having little impact on the environment but huge impact on manufacturers and owners since then continues to be astounding and confounding.

I struggled to manage a product line portfolio of diesel and gaseous engines from 30 to 3000 hp. The EPA chopped then up into power bands with different requirements at different dates and different Tier levels. I about lost my mind, but we did it.

My reward was being tossed out when we were done so executives still got bonuses despite praising our work. Smiling liars.

That is the simplest option. Either that, or run PUP 5W30 with Lubgard Biotech with every oil change. If PUP is not available, use any good oil like Castrol Edge, but make sure to use Biotech..
Yup...since joining this forum some years ago, switched to RL and very unlikely to go back

Yeah, corey is flipping the script for us especially with his latest fail. I guess Travis has a point with boron, but with redline we know you get it all aw/ep, ester, pao, boron, and a partridge in a pair tree, and maybe it takes all of that in concert to keep hemi tick away. As long as redline keeps killing my tick, now 13 years minus a year or two, all is good, I'm gonna have to bite the bullet. However, I wonder if they will still be in business if they keep charging that ridiculous price. There was one ester additive other then biotech posted once, I think it was aus, and anyone know of a boron additive? I'm not sure about boron and proper ppm without risk, but have a pretty good idea when it comes to moly.

Holy f, the skies just open like I have never seen. Climate change, it's here fellas, nice knowing ya.

It's a hail storm with so much water the gutters can't keep up with the flow. Dang, almost like an earthquake the water and ice was just dumping. Knock wood no 1/4 inch plus hail, seams small, but boat loads of water with it. Rained more in ten minutes then I have seen in a day, sirens blasting tells me something nasty on the freeway. oh well, havent had anything curl my hair like that in a while. :)

Well, keep posting Red Line deals when you see them, I guess.

@Burla time to head for the hills? I hear Donner Pass is nice. We got an ice storm here in the "all kinds of weather" tundra, a tornado ripping up south Dayton, Ohio at the moment.

The last time I was on donner pass the freeway had over 12 inches compact snow on it and they didnt require chains, lol. That was super fun to be honest, had the ram in 4x4 and was cussing myself for not getting the factory skin off yet. That winter storm caught everyone off guard, went to reno for a day and on the way back it was thick. Anyhow, I was just teasing, I know some folks are going through some real stuff right now with nado's.

That guy sold 4 cases dirt cheap, I know anyday now he will sell the other 5 because since he asked for 100 bucks shipping none have sold. cant snooze on those, I got mine.

He actually sent me an offer the other day to get the 12 pack for $90. Almost took him up on it.

Last oil change I switched to pennzoil platinum high mileage 5w/20 and lubegard, what are the opinions on this option? Considering same oil but 5w/30 flavor next oil change 130,000 miles on the clock and no tick

it's a top choice, especially the platinum, and yes 5w30 with biotech you have a good set up. Poll says pennzoil number one on the board with m1 a close 2.
