There isn’t the actual day listed, only month built, & I don’t know if it means started 1/15 or completed.
For my first post in the New Year, I wanted to post some positives.
I’m at 94k and my truck is running strong, had the normal issues, broken manifold bolts fixed with long tubes & fuel level/pump replaced around 60k.
Of course have the radio issue, fixed with a 25$ speaker for now, but looking to do the ground wire upgrade & new system this year.
I’ve done all the fluids & plugs early & stick to a 5k oci , hoping the next 10 years are as good as the last.
Hope everyone has a healthy & Happy New Year!

My 2014, I haven't looked for a build date but it was first sold in March 2015. Probably was a 2-year lease because it was returned to the original dealer in March of 2017.

I found it on cars.com and bought it in July 2017 with 22,714 miles on it. Had it ever since. Currently at 113,255 miles.

Other than plenty of routine maintenance, the exhaust manifolds and fuel level sending unit have been the only repairs/costs. I'm retired and I like this truck enough to try to keep it as long as possible. It has only "let me down" by failing to start in my driveway. An hour on a charger and a short drive to Battery Warehouse and I was back in business. The loan was paid off 3 years ago. I have to say there haven't been too many vehicles that remained reliable past the loan.

I may come back and delete part of this post if I ever win the lottery, but that hasn't worked out yet.

Happy New Year, and good luck to us all!

I got mine on Dec 17 ,2014 , it’s manu date was march so it was on the lot for a few months.
29,556 on the odometer currently.
Had brake caliper issues , both fronts , one rear .
All of them failed to fully retract, resulting in smelly pads and cooked rotors.
All of the pistons on the failed calipers were chunky when examined.

2014 Laramie Megacab 3500 6.7 I bought new in March of 2014 , technically going on 11 years old. 79K on it . Been paid for now for nearly 7 years . Been a pretty good truck overall . Replaced the actuator , both nox sensors , and some broken bolts on a pulley . All out of my pocket , just over $ 4k . Not complaining , all these repairs were after a max care warranty would have expired except for the pulley repair of $300 . So I am money ahead not buying the warranty . No plans to ever sell it until I am too old to be towing a fifth wheel . At 77 I hopefully have a few years left .

Getting things bought for my April maintenance , this year it will be more than the usual . Coolant ,brake fluid , both axles fluid change ,transfer case fluid change , power steering fluid change , transmission fluid ,and filters, and serpentine belt . Along with the usual fuel filters , oil ,and filter change , and air filter . Got a little work ahead of me .

Entertaining the transmission pan replacing with the Mag-Hytec , anyone have any thoughts on it ? Worth doing , other than just adding more fluid ? My truck does a fair amount of towing a fifth wheel , just curious if it would be a worthwhile investment . I have the 68RFE transmission .

comparing apples to oranges I installed a pml with the extra capacity on my 65rfe , and am happy with the couple extra quarts of fluid it now holds .
I know it’s not a lot but , more fluid seems to help with the cooling. That pan is in the wind now, with how much lower it sits.

I took delivery of my 2014 6.4 Hemi on 3/17/2014 so I'm coming up on 11 years. Decent truck in that it hasn't had a lot of problems but the ones it has had have been big - tranny blew at 38K and was fixed under factory warranty, tranny blew again at 90K and was fixed under Lifetime Maxcare warranty. Engine blew at 110K at was fixed under Maxcare.

Somewhere along the way the exhaust manifold bolts and 8.4 Uconnect system were also fixed under warranty. If not for my extended plan/warranty I'd be pretty down on this truck but with the warranty I'm pleased. I like driving it and it's been generally reliable other than the big repairs. I remember back in 2014 shopping Ford/Chevy/Ram and decided the Ram at roughly 4K less with a $2200 Lifetime warranty was a good idea.... one of the few good choices I made when I was younger :) :)

I bought my First Dodge Ram in January 2009, it was a 2009 SLT
Nobody wanted it because of the Orange color, it was on a back lot, where they have the Heavy Duty Rams, battery was dead, 1 tire was was fully flat, no one had washed it for quite a while.
I drove it for 144,000 miles, i had done the Brakes, Shocks, & Transmission Service.
I sold it in July 2016.
The new owner is still driving it & he waves while passing my place.

I ordered my 2016 Ram in November of 2015, it was built on December 16th or so, delivered on January 16 to the dealership, i drove it Home that same day.
If i had not gotten sick in January 2020, i would have sold the Ram in 2023.
The illness put me down, so i closed my business & i will have to keep the 2016 Ram.
It has been very good to me

Happy New Year
