Just right down the exact mileage on your original cluster prior to installing the other , also record the exact milage on the new to U one ....drive all you want. , Then do the math upon removing the new to U cluster.Hello,
I just picked up a 7" EVIC cluster for a good price but it has less mileage than my current one. I plan to have the correct mileage programmed into the new cluster but I want to wait for a couple of months until a time when I will be away on vacation and don't need the vehicle. My question is; If I swap out the gauge cluster and drive it for a while is there a way to pull the true mileage from the vehicle and reprogram the new gauge cluster at a later date?
Thanks for any help.
The short answer is No , my dealer can read the total miles on my truck via WiFi when I pull into their Maint Bay ...but to my knowledge there's no way other than recording mileage and doing the math for us to read it ....
Hope this helps !
